GENERAL INFORMATION
All prices on this site are in CAD and exclude, framing and shipping unless otherwise stated. Framing can be arranged by the artist before shipping on the buyer’s request, all framing expenses will be covered by the buyer.
All reproduction and copyrights are retained by the artist after sale. Please be aware that the colors and brightness of the digital representations may vary due to your monitor. Therefor the original may be slightly different from the digital images seen on this or any other site.
Buying online (Notrh America Only)
You can easily purchase your favorite piece online, just click the ‘buy this piece now’ link on the artwork page or click the shop link in the navigation bar. Prices will be the same whether you buy at the gallery, online or directly from the artist.
International collectors
In order to offer the most affordable shipping prices and best door to door service, international collectors are advised to purchase their favorite piece through Singulart or SaatchiArt. Prices will be the same whether you buy at the gallery, online or directly from the artist.

In Montreal Denise Buisman Pilger is represented by Viva Vida Art Gallery, located on 278-2 Lakeshore in Pointe Claire. Any sales in the greater Montreal area will be handled by Viva Vida Art gallery, they will be able to arrange a viewing of all of the works shown on this website. PAYMENT INFORMATION
PayPal and Square are the preferred method of payment, other forms of payment are open to discussion - please contact the artist before buying if you wish to use another payment method to ensure that it can be accommodated. Payment plans are accepted.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
The Artist Abroad ships worldwide. All prices on this website exclude shipping and handling. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees as well as all customs and duty related fees. Shipping fees will be based on the location of the buyer. For purchases over $2500 we offer free shipping in North America.
When shipped all works are carefully packaged and protected. Each work will be shipped according to each of their individual requirements. Artwork is usually shipped within 5 days of cleared payment.
RETURN POLICY
If you are not satisfied with the artwork, please notify the artist of your desire to return your purchase within 30 days of sale. Returns of artwork will always be accepted if the artwork is in its original condition. Refunds can be issued if the buyer does not like what he or she receives. The total cost of the artwork (excluding shipping costs) will be refunded if the artwork is returned in the same condition that it was sent within 30 days of purchase.
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping and insurance fees, and there are no refunds on return shipping and insurance fees paid for by the buyer who returns the purchase. Refunds will be issued upon receipt and acceptance of the artwork. Refunds will not be possible for works that have deteriorated due to incorrect display.
Caring for your artwork
To care for the artwork never display it in strong ultraviolet radiation such as direct sunlight or in a location of high humidity. Avoid touching the image area or rubbing your hand or other materials across the surface of the piece. The artwork is protected by an archival varnish, to clean an artwork on wood panel carefully wipe with a dry soft cloth to remove dust. For pieces on Japanese paper avoid touching the paper with bare hand as the oils on your hands will damage the paper, to clean wipe very lightly with a clean, dry duster. Never use water or cleaning agents on any of the artwork. All works are signed by the artist on the front, have the title and date on the back and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
